Time to Sign

Volunteers from around the state of Wyoming are gathering signatures for the People’s Initiative to Limit Property Tax in Wyoming through a Homeowner’s Property Exemption.

Please review the bill’s language below.

There are a handful of petitions circulating around Teton County. If enough signatures are received, this bill will go to a state-wide ballot vote - effectively giving the people of Wyoming the ability to implement property tax relief by circumventing the State Legislature.

This is a non-partisan initiative, therefore, any registered voter in Wyoming, homeowner or renter, who wants to lower property taxes is encouraged to sign.

Below are locations where you can stop by to sign a petition:

  1. 255 W. Deloney Ave. from 8 AM to 5 PM - ask for Val or Mary

  2. 1315 S. Hwy 89, Unit 103 from 8 AM to 5 PM - ask for Tote

  3. 680 S. Cache Street, Suite 100 from 9 AM to 5 PM - ask for Rebecca or Jonathan

Also, mark your calendars for an upcoming Town Hall/Petition Signing Event at the Teton County Library on Wednesday, January 10th at 5:30 PM.

If you have any questions, please email David Scheurn at tetonpetitions@gmail.com.
